May/June Favorite random products

My favorite nail product: Nailene Calcium Gel Tip Kit

I absolutely love this product.  The product is described as odorless advance nail strengthening system; it comes with 2 sets of style tips: French or Naturals.

I used the French style tips for my birthday in June and they looked amazing, it was so easy to apply and lasted quite a long time considering my 24/7 tear and wear as a mom. I have a very sensitive sense of smell, the product is not completely odorless but it doesn’t bother me at all.  I have also been using it to repair any broken nails and it last until I am ready to fix it. I will highly recommend this product to anyone, it is easy to apply, fast drying and easy removal as long as you follow their instructions.

Cloth diapers: Pop ins

I recently got the Close parent: Pop in new generation little box + bamboo. These are reusable nappies that come in a box of 5 in the bright palette colors.   I have been using them for a few weeks now and I really like them. When I first started cloth diapering my son, I never heard of them, the popular ones were the Tots bots but in all honesty, I prefer the Pop ins.

The absorbency is great with the bamboo fabric, a natural hypoallergenic material.  The rise is really high which means that it now fits my toddler. It will get really small and the largest setting truly will fit until potty training.  The little box comes with a night time booster that keeps my baby dry for 10 hours! The shell is fast drying but the bamboo insert does take quite a bit longer, this heat wave helps a lot.

The main features of the nappy are:

  • ·         Waterproof shell allows the baby’s bottom breathe

  • ·         Double gusset to protect against leaky legs

  • ·         Absorbent panel draws and holds more wetness in the middle of the nappy

  • ·         Soft waistband for a secure & comfortable fit

  • ·         Simple aplix fastening for faster change time

  • ·         Removable soaker and booster pop in or out for different absorbency and fast drying

In overall, I believe the pop ins are a good quality nappy, so far I had no leaks day or night, fast drying and enough room for my toddler to grow into.

Disposable nappy liners: Boots Brand

I am pleasantly surprised by these liners. They are strong and soft. They don’t disintegrate like other liners do.  It comes in a handy plastic packing like disposable wipes and it is easy to pull them out. My only complaint will be that they are too long.
